Pastor and his wife, Jean, have been serving at First Baptist Church for 35 years. They are originally from Austin, Minnesota, where he farmed before being called to pastor. After graduating from Bible college, he became the pastor of First Baptist Plattsmouth with a total of three faithful senior citizen members. He attributes God’s hand upon this ministry for all the blessings we have witnessed in this place.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Heath served as a music director and school principal. His wife Rachel and their four children are also a great addition to our church. He serves as the Music Director of First Baptist Church and currently teaches the New Heights Connection Group.

Jerry and Christie Lee have been serving at First Baptist Church since 2010. Originally from Arnold, NE, Jerry graduated from Bible College in Kansas City, Missouri. He currently oversees the building and grounds department and helps coordinate the nursing home ministries. Jerry also leads the Faith Builders Connection Group.

Andrew Starr is the newest addition to the FBC staff. Originally from Kansas, Andrew graduated from Maranatha Baptist University and Seminary. He, his wife Rachel, and their four children have been an amazing addition to our church family. He serves as our Next Generation Pastor and teaches the Wednesday night youth class and the Crossroads Connection Group.

Jesse and Justine Wicks have been serving at First Baptist School since 2010. Originally from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Jesse graduated from Bible College in Indiana with a Bachelor of Education in School Administration degree. He serves as the Principal of First Baptist School. Jesse also leads the Thrive Connection Group.
